Today most organizations have been employing one/more DevOps concepts. However project teams are not at same maturity level to reap the benefits of the DevOps. Our assessment and planning service is designed to address this organization need by capturing enough information to make specific recommendations for implementation of DevOps solution. GoVirtual deploys its DevOps consultants at customer location to understand the current situation, goals and constraints via meetings, workshops etc. Using our own DevOps assessment tool we will assess the current practices, improvement areas, capabilities of the customer teams to arrive at the maturity level of the organization.

Our DevOps Assessment Tool assesses the current DevOps capability that exists within the organization, with specific focus on the People, Practices and Toolsets used. DevOps Assessment will reveal the maturity level in various DevOps areas like Continuous Integration, Automated Testing, Continuous Deployment and Continuous Delivery. Usually this exercise will take 4 weeks to establish the DevOps roadmap.

Our methodology comprises of following steps:

• Identify key pain points in the delivery process
• Assess current capabilities using the DevOps maturity model
• Produce Heat Maps of capability gaps and areas of improvement
• Prioritize impactful DevOps areas like Continuous Integration, Automated Testing, Continuous Deployment and Continuous Delivery for DevOps implementation
• Establish a Roadmap with milestones and execution timelines for the prioritized areas

This roadmap addresses the pain areas and provides guidance on how to implement DevOps solutions to improve the DevOps maturity level of the organization.
